I hate pink 2003
I hate pink(a declamatory statement against the prejudice surrounding the color; pink -- a color coded and euphemized because of its associations to femininity. The tenderness and softness associated with the color all come through the parallel thread of feminization. Against this codification, the formal explorations and experiments in a color that the project undertakes reveal the underlayer of the color pink. Everything in this show was in pink and drawn from the realm of the domestic play-off on the inner violence.
